Cinderella a winner for Crouch End Players!

Pumpkins, glass slippers and a thigh slapping handsome prince were the order of the day last week when the Crouch End Players brought their 2011 pantomime, Cinderella, to Greig City Academy in Hornsey.

With suitably odious ugly sisters, glamorous ball guests and some great renditions of west end musical numbers re-written Cinderella style, the amateur dramatic group, who formed in 2008 continue to go from strength to strength, following sell out productions last year.

Running over four days the players sung, danced, and custard pied their way through the rags to riches tale in true panto style, with the audience taking to their feet at the end for an 'all join in' alternative version of the Twelve Days of Christmas. And did they do it well? OH YES THEY DID!!

The Crouch End Players meet on Wednesdays and welcome new new members of all ages and experience. For more information email or visit
